National Marine Corps League Scholarship

Detachment Scholarship

Cherry Point Detachment #1067 Marine Corps League proudly offers $1,000 in scholarships each calendar year.

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration for this scholarship opportunity, applicants must:

  • Be a graduating high school senior (including Early College) or a college freshman; and
  • Be a child, grandchild, great-grandchild, adopted child, or step-child of a regular, honorary, active-duty honorary, or an eligible prospective member*, in good standing** of the Cherry Point Detachment #1067, Marine Corps League; and
  • Be accepted and enrolled in an accredited college for the upcoming fall semester
  • * Prospective member must have submitted a new membership application
  • ** In good standing = member’s dues have been paid for current membership year

Deadline

The deadline for submitting scholarship applications is April 5th
